I stare in awe, speechless towards the beauty of the wolf. His howl pierces the silence of the winter night. His breath condenses in the cool, crisp, air. The small cloud shimmers in the light of the full moon. I step forward, a branch snaps, he looks at me and I look at him. My heart racing, paralyzed by fear I don't move as he lunges at me...then licks my cheek before running off into the shadows.
